Medior FrontEnd Developer - React
As a Medior FrontEnd Developer at Born Digital, you will be an integral part of our cross-functional product team, helping shape the visual and interactive layer of our AI-driven platform. You will play a hands-on role in the design and development of web-based applications where our Digital Humans come to life. In this role, you’ll be involved throughout the development lifecycle—from discovery and UX/UI design feedback to implementation and polishing of technical debt—ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and visually engaging solutions.
This position requires a medior-level React developer with a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate in a remote-first environment with teammates based in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Your responsibilities
Responsibilities:
✔️ Collaborative Product Development:
Work closely with backend developers, UX designers, product owners, and QA engineers to deliver new features and refine existing ones, while actively participating in discovery and design feedback sessions.
✔️ FrontEnd Implementation:
Use your skills in TypeScript, React, Context API, Redux + RTK Query, and MUI to build scalable, clean, and performant components and pages that bring our Digital Humans platform to life.
✔️ Technical Excellence:
Maintain code quality, tackle technical debt, and contribute to best practices and internal libraries to improve development processes.
✔️ Ownership & Independence:
Handle assigned tasks autonomously while actively communicating progress, raising issues when needed, and helping unblock others.
✔️ Team Collaboration:
Thrive in a supportive and humorous team culture where knowledge sharing, feedback, and bad-hair-day morning standups are part of the daily routine.
About you
🟢 You have at least medior-level experience with React and supporting technologies (TypeScript, Context API, Redux + RTK Query, MUI).
🟢 You’re a team player who enjoys collaboration but can also take initiative and work independently.
🟢 You’re not afraid to ask questions, challenge assumptions, or offer suggestions that could improve user experience or performance.
🟢 You’re comfortable joining remote calls, even when your coffee hasn’t kicked in yet.
🟢 You’re fluent in English (written and spoken), with an additional language like Czech, Slovak, Polish, or German being a plus.
🟢 You’re open to completing a short assignment to demonstrate your practical experience and thinking process.
