Software Engineer
(Full-stack)
Prague / Bratislava / Remote
As a Software Engineer at Born Digital, you’ll help build and operate our AI-powered Digital Humans platform.
This is not a role where you’ll spend all day implementing UI features. A big part of the job is understanding how the platform works, debugging issues, integrating with external systems, and helping customers and colleagues solve technical problems.
You’ll work across APIs, workers, databases, cloud infrastructure, frontend applications, and everything in between.
Location & setup
- Bratislava – SkyPark offices (The Spot) (hybrid)
- We expect regular office presence, roughly 3 days per week on average, but we’re flexible.

About you
- You have 3+ software development experience
- You’re technically curious and enjoy figuring out how things work
- You like debugging problems and getting to the root cause, even when the answer isn’t obvious
- You take ownership and care about getting things right
- You’re familiar with some of the technologies we use and willing to learn the rest
- You’re comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical people, customers, partners, and external IT teams in Slovak or Czech (English is a plus)
Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Troubleshooting
Learn the platform inside out. Work across the stack—from frontend and backend services to databases, containers, cloud infrastructure, and customer environments. Help colleagues and customers diagnose issues, identify root causes, and keep things running smoothly.
Customer & Technical Communication
Work directly with customers, partners, and external IT teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, support integrations, and help deliver successful deployments. Most communication is currently in Slovak or Czech, with occasional English communication.
API, Integration & Data Development
Design and optimize APIs, integrations, workers, and database interactions using technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and GraphQL. Help connect our platform with customer systems and external services.
Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components of our platform using technologies such as React, TypeScript, Python, and Node.js.
